Device and Browser Support

BITeamwork supports several major browser and works on certain mobile devices applications/browsers. But like many applications and host analytics systems such as Oracle BI, BITeamwork is not compatible with all browser versions or devices. It may support some older browsers with limited capability but all newest major browsers are tested during BITeamwork development with all functionality

The following are the levels of browser and device support tested and certified by our development labs for BITeamwork.

  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
      Microsoft recommends using Microsoft Edge as your default browser, and supports Internet Explorer 11 for backward compatibility with varied results for BITeamwork to IE8. Versions of Internet Explorer 7 and below are not supported by BITeamwork, because they are not fully supported by Microsoft.

      Note: Using Internet Explorer Enterprise Mode (good article on setting-up IE 11 enterprise mode) is not required for OBIEE to function correctly and reverts the IE browser to IE8 mode but if Compatibility Mode is also switched on in addition to Enterprise Mode then IE reverts to IE 7 standards.

Support Devices

BITeamwork is focused on the workstation browser experience for end users. However, it does support basic interaction with limited functionality within the Oracle BI HD Mobile App for the iPad iOS.
